Stephanie Sigman is a Mexican American actress. Her first film role was Miss Bala, a Mexican crime drama film. She was also seen in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). In television, Sigman starred in Narcos (2015) and S.W.A.T (2017) for the first and second seasons of both series. Sigman was the daughter of an Mexican mother, and an American father, Lee Sigman (a New York Yankees Scout from Kansas) and Lee Sigman, who both were born in Ciudad Obregon. Before making her debut in film at Rio de Oro, she began her career as Mexican television star. She played Laura Guerrero, the lead in Miss Bala, a Mexican crime drama film. The film was selected as the Mexican entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 84th Academy Award, but it was not on the final cut. 9.
